This wedding was one of my power planning weddings, the bride Lana Colston was in the middle of a major life move from Tennessee to St Louis as her husband to be NFL TE Jared Cook had just signed with the St Louis Rams. I knew besides the shorter planning timeframe the bride would be house shopping, packing their current home, researching movers, then unpacking and furniture shopping. All this before she even thought about any wedding planning. Thank goodness she already had her gown and venue because I'm not sure if she would have kept her sanity if she had to add those items to her long list. Don't get me wrong Lana was a trooper, in fact she had more energy than the energizer bunny and got things done, this is just a ton to have on your plate while you are planning one of the most important days of your life!
I took over from the planning perspective to free Lana up to handle their move and made it easy for Lana to show up and make decisions. In the end after only getting to meet with Lana three times before the week of her wedding things went off without a hitch.
